Dry rub for Pork Loin
Author:
Recipe type: dry rub
Cuisine: BBQ
Prep time:
Total time:
Serves: enough for a 4lb loin.

I didn't have any garlic salt so this substitutes garlic powder+sea salt for that. Also this has a bit more of a smoky heat than the original. Once again, the quantities are doubled from the original which gave enough for a just under 4lb pork loin with a tinybit left over.
Ingredients
  • 4 teaspoons granulated white sugar
  • 4 teaspoons smoked paprika (original uses unsmoked)
  • 3 teaspoons onion salt
  • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (original calls for garlic salt, if using that eliminate this salt)
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder (original calls for regular chili powder but I like the smokiness of ancho)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients together in a bowl.
