Dry rub for beef short ribs, adapted from Chris Lilly's Big Bob Gibson's BBQ Book. I removed the majority of the salt (already used for the brining, should probably leave it out completely) and tripled the quantities as I've noticed the stated amounts are far too small.
Ingredients
½ tablespoon kosher salt
3 tablespoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons garlic powder
4½ teaspoons dried thyme
3 teaspoons ground ginger
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
Mix well.
